CUE Student Orientation: Wednesday, September 1: 10:00 - 11:30 am or Thursday September 2, 4:00 - 5:30 pm. Come learn more about: the new CUE Fellows Program, paid tutoring positions, scholarship opportunities, volunteer positions, networking sessions and more! The orientation will be at our office in the Tivoli Building, Room 129.
Lake Middle School Students Visit Metro State
Students from Lake Middle School dropped by the UTP office for pizza and soda before heading off to join Metro’s Mathematics of Secondary Curriculum course taught by Dr. Don Gilmore. The four middle-school students were here to instruct Metro pre-service students on how to use the computer gaming program, Alice. Over the last 2 years, Dr. Gilmore has been working with students at Lake Middle on the gaming program, which assists in building literacy and math skills for middle-schoolers.
